Wieczysta Cracovia has placed manager Zeljko Kopic under significant pressure, issuing an ultimatum that requires him to secure a victory in his next match to retain his position. According to reports, the club will dismiss the Croatian coach if he fails to win the upcoming fixture.

The decisive match is scheduled for Sunday, 25 October, when Wieczysta Cracovia will host Slask Wroclaw. The stakes are high for both sides, with Wieczysta currently occupying 15th place in the league table, just above the relegation zone, while their opponents sit in 17th position.

Kopic’s tenure has started poorly, with the team managing only one victory in eight matches played so far this season. The club had initially tasked the former Dinamo manager with the clear objective of ensuring survival in the Polish first division, but the modest run of form has led the board to consider termination.

Despite the precarious situation, Kopic remains well-compensated for his role. He currently earns a monthly salary of 28,000 euros at Wieczysta Cracovia, which represents a significant increase from the 16,000 euros per month he received during his previous stint at Dinamo in Romania.
