The officially announced summer and winter registration dates for Romanian football in 2026–27, with federation sources.
Season 2026–27 · Reviewed
Summer registration period
The announced 2026–27 summer window ran from 16 June to 7 September 2026. AJF Teleorman’s official notice attributes those dates to FRF’s Executive Committee decision of 9 June 2025. AJF Cluj separately confirms the same FRF summer period, including international transfers.
Winter registration period
The same Teleorman notice gives 12 January to 8 February 2027 for the winter window. These are season-specific registration periods, not a promise that a reported move will happen.
What a transfer report establishes
Keep a reported negotiation separate from a confirmed signing. Our transfer reporting labels rumours and links the underlying coverage. A headline about an agreement does not by itself establish registration or match eligibility. This guide does not attempt to determine exceptions for individual players.
Which calendar applies?
These dates refer to the FRF periods for 2026–27. County competitions can have separate local arrangements: the Cluj decision distinguishes its AJF period from the FRF period. Use the relevant official rules for a particular registration rather than assuming every competition has identical deadlines.
