Răzvan Zăvăleanu has publicly dismissed claims by Hendrik Klein regarding a potential investment in CFR Cluj. The club administrator stated that Klein holds no official quality or status at the club. Zăvăleanu explained that he ignored Klein and refused to hold meetings with him due to this lack of formal standing.

Klein had previously claimed that an agreement existed for him to acquire 50 percent of CFR Cluj. Neluțu Varga denied this assertion, stating that nothing was signed. Zăvăleanu expressed skepticism about Klein's ability to bring money to the club. He noted that Klein appeared to be trying to get hired by the club rather than acting as an investor.

Zăvăleanu compared the situation to his past experience with Cortacero at Dinamo. He suggested that Klein's approach mirrored previous attempts by individuals to secure positions within a club under the guise of investment. This comparison highlighted Zăvăleanu's caution regarding unofficial offers during the club's financial restructuring.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding external investment, Zăvăleanu clarified the position of owner Neluțu Varga. He stated that Varga is free to sell his shares during the insolvency process. These shares are considered unrelated to the insolvency procedure itself, allowing the owner to pursue a sale if desired.

The club faces significant financial obligations. CFR Cluj had debts of 40,000,000 euros before the opening of insolvency proceedings. Additionally, owner Neluțu Varga holds claims worth 15,000,000 euros against the club from pre-insolvency debts. These figures outline the scale of the financial challenge facing the administration.

Zăvăleanu stated that creditor repayments will begin next year. Meeting these obligations will require either a capital injection or the sale of players. The administrator indicated that these measures are necessary to satisfy the financial requirements of the insolvency process.

Internal squad matters have also been addressed. Two players initially refused salary reductions at CFR Cluj. Zăvăleanu stated that the matter was resolved, indicating that the wage bill issues have been managed without further public dispute.
