FCSB secured a 2-1 away victory against FC Voluntari in the SuperLiga. Arnold Garita opened the scoring for FCSB in the 27th minute with an assist from Risto Radunovic. Remus Guțea equalized for FC Voluntari in the 59th minute. Alexandru Stoian scored the winning goal for FCSB in the 85th minute.

The result marked the second consecutive win for coach Laurențiu Reghecampf since his return to the club. This followed a previous 1-0 victory against Oțelul Galați. The three points moved FCSB up to sixth place in the SuperLiga table. The team has accumulated 18 points after 12 rounds of matches.

Club owner Gigi Becali addressed concerns regarding forward Denis Drăguș. He stated that Drăguș underwent an MRI scan which showed no serious injury. Becali expressed belief that the player would be available for the upcoming derby match against Rapid.

Becali also discussed transfer plans for the winter window. He mentioned the possibility of Florinel Coman returning to FCSB. The owner noted that coach Laurențiu Reghecampf advised waiting until winter for any new signings. Reghecampf claimed that immediate reinforcements were not necessary for the squad.

Despite the coach's assessment, Becali stated he lacked confidence in the view that no new players were needed. The owner indicated a divergence in opinion regarding the urgency of strengthening the team during the break.
