FCSB head coach Laurențiu Reghecampf asked club owner Gigi Becali to stop publicly criticizing forward Dennis Politic. The request came as the Bucharest side secured a 2-1 victory against FC Voluntari. Reghecampf sought to shield the player from external pressure while managing his integration into the squad.

The coach provided context on Politic’s physical condition upon arrival at the club. Reghecampf stated that the forward was injured and training separately when he first joined the team. This initial status required a period of rehabilitation before full participation in group sessions could begin.

After two to three weeks of work, Politic had not reported any further problems. Reghecampf noted this progress as a positive sign for the player’s availability. The coach expressed hope that Politic would be able to play in the match against FC Voluntari, indicating his readiness to contribute to the team.

Public commentary from the club ownership has focused on the financial aspects of the signing. Gigi Becali claimed that Dennis Politic cost almost two million euros. This figure contrasts with market valuations listed by external agencies.

Transfermarkt lists Politic’s market value at 650,000 euros. The forward has recorded four goals in 31 matches for FCSB. His current contract with the club runs until summer 2029 and includes a monthly salary of 20,000 euros.
