The Liga Profesionistă de Fotbal (LPF) released its symbolic first 11 and best coach selection for round 11 of the SuperLiga on 2026-10-13. The announcement highlighted standout individual performances from the latest set of fixtures across the top flight.
Daniel Pancu received the honor of coach of the round. This recognition followed a dramatic 4-3 victory for his team, Rapid, over U Cluj. The match featured seven goals and secured a significant result for the Bucharest side.
Two players from Rapid earned places in the weekly best XI. Stojilkovic was selected after scoring two goals in the win. His teammate Olimpiu Moruțan also made the team, credited with providing three assists during the match.
Dinamo contributed two players to the symbolic lineup following their victory against Sepsi. Danny Armstrong was included after registering two assists. Martin Pascual also entered the first 11 after scoring one goal in the contest.
Representatives from other major clubs also featured in the LPF selection. Valentin Crețu from FCSB was named in the team. Simon Elisor from Universitatea Craiova completed the list of selected defenders and attackers recognized for their contributions in round 11.
Beyond the weekly awards, transfer rumors circulated regarding Romanian internationals. Reports suggested that 27-year-old Ianis Hagi could move to Olympique Marseille. This potential transfer is linked to the upcoming January window, though it remains unconfirmed.
Discussion also emerged concerning the valuation of Andrei Rațiu. The Rayo Vallecano defender has been subject to speculation about a potential sale. Gigi Becali expressed doubt that the player could be sold for a fee of 24 million euros.
