FCSB attacker David Miculescu has reportedly been proposed to Turkish club Samsunspor as a potential winter transfer target. The move comes as the Turkish side looks to strengthen its offensive options following a period of significant player sales.

Samsunspor is actively seeking offensive solutions after generating 35 million euros from player sales in the recent transfer period. The club parted ways with several key figures to balance its books and reshape the squad.

Among those departed was top scorer Marius Mouandilmadji, who left the club during the transfer window. Sources differ on the exact fee received for his departure, with one report stating he joined Olympiacos for 7 million euros and another citing a sale to Olympiakos Piraeus for approximately 9 million euros.

The interest in Miculescu emerged after Samsunspor failed to secure a different target. The Turkish club had an offer of 5 million euros for a player from Stuttgart rejected by the German side, prompting them to look elsewhere for attacking reinforcement.

Miculescu joined FCSB from UTA Arad in the summer of 2022 for a fee of 1.7 million euros. He has since established himself as a regular contributor for the Romanian club.

In the current season, Miculescu has played eight matches, recording three goals and one assist. His market value is listed at 2.3 million euros by Transfermarkt.

The player currently earns a monthly salary of 30,000 euros and holds a contract with FCSB that runs until 2029. This long-term deal provides the Romanian club with leverage in any potential negotiations.

FCSB owner Gigi Becali has stated that he would value Miculescu at 10 million euros for foreign clubs. This valuation is significantly higher than the player's current market estimate.

While Miculescu’s future is under discussion, FCSB is also reportedly interested in signing Andrei Cordea. Cordea previously played for the club between 2021 and 2023 before being sold to Al-Tai for 1.3 million euros.

During his previous stint at FCSB, Cordea made 95 appearances, scoring 16 goals and providing 13 assists. Any potential return would depend on further developments in the winter market.
