Reports link Koln and Hoffenheim with Ianis Stoica transfer from Estrela Amadora

Representatives from German Bundesliga sides Koln and Hoffenheim attended an Estrela Amadora match to scout winger Ianis Stoica, according to multiple reports. Fanatik stated that officials from both clubs were present at the game the previous weekend to observe the player. Sport.ro cited former coach Vivi Răchită, who claimed that Koln and Hoffenheim are fully interested in Stoica and that transfer discussions are currently ongoing.

The specific match attended by the scouts was Estrela Amadora's 0-2 defeat to Casa Pia. Reports indicate that Stoica played for 61 minutes during this fixture but did not register a goal or assist. Despite the lack of offensive contribution in this particular game, his overall form has attracted attention from abroad.

Stoica has recorded four goals and two assists in 10 Portuguese league matches for Estrela Amadora. Other reports specify that these contributions came during the first nine rounds of the championship. His market value is listed at 4 million euros by Transfermarkt, which represents an increase of 2.5 million euros.

There are conflicting reports regarding the financial demands for the transfer. Fanatik and Vivi Răchită suggested that the transfer fee is around 4 million euros and that a deal could be concluded in the winter market. However, other sources state that Estrela Amadora demands at least 7.5 million euros for the player. This figure is a revision of an initial 2.5 million euro valuation set for the summer of 2026.

Estrela Amadora acquired Stoica from Hermannstadt in the summer of 2025 for a fee of 1.3 million euros. Reports note that not all of this money has been paid to the Romanian club. Before joining Estrela, Stoica played for several teams including FCSB, Petrolul, Universitatea Cluj, Dunărea Călărași, Metaloglobus, Slatina, and Hermannstadt.

On the international front, national team coach Gică Hagi did not include Stoica in the squad for the national team actions in September and October. Hagi has since included Stoica in the preliminary list of foreigners for the November national team action. It remains uncertain whether he will be retained in the final squad for those fixtures.
