Farul Constanța shareholder Ciprian Marica has publicly criticized striker Denis Alibec following the player's recent disciplinary issues. Marica expressed disappointment regarding Alibec's conduct, suggesting that the forward lacked the necessary intelligence and composure expected of a veteran player. The shareholder emphasized that at Alibec's age, the club anticipated more restraint and an ability to avoid provocation.

The criticism stems from Alibec's three-match suspension, which was imposed after he received a direct red card. The incident occurred at halftime during a match against Dinamo, which Farul lost with a full-time score of 0-4. Reports indicate that Alibec was sent off following an altercation in the tunnel involving Danny Armstrong.

As a result of the ban, Alibec will be unavailable for upcoming fixtures, including the match against Oțelul scheduled for Sunday at 16:00. Marica noted that the team is currently playing without a recognized striker, as new signing Yann Kitala is also injured. Consequently, the club has had to rely on Andrei Maricean, whom Marica described as a young player who is not an authentic number nine and is still developing.
