CFR Cluj is currently in insolvency with total debts amounting to 32 million euros. The club owes approximately 4.5 million euros to ANAF, the national tax authority. Owner Ioan Varga is owed 20 million euros of the total debt.

Ioan Varga has set a deadline of one month for Hendrik Klein to bring promised investors to the club. This ultimatum comes as the club seeks to resolve its financial difficulties through external investment.

Varga accused Klein of failing to present necessary proof of funds for the proposed investment. The owner stated that financial difficulties can happen to anyone in football, responding to earlier comments by MM Stoica regarding insolvent clubs.

To facilitate the investment, Varga offered Klein shares in the club in exchange for bringing in 5 or 10 million euros. This offer was made to encourage the rapid injection of capital needed to address the club's debts.

Klein claimed that Frank Otto, a potential investor, is a billionaire who does not need to prove his wealth. This statement contrasts with Varga's demand for concrete evidence of financial capability.

Răzvan Zăvăleanu stated that CFR Cluj must find money to pay its debts within 9 to 12 months. This timeline underscores the urgency of the current situation and the need for immediate financial solutions.
