Universitatea Craiova defender Oleksandr Romanchuk has received transfer offers worth 3 to 4 million euros from German clubs, according to reports from Vivi Răchită. The journalist stated that he obtained this information directly from the player's agent, with whom he maintains a friendship. Răchită clarified that previous interest from Dinamo Kiev is outdated and distinct from the current reported offers from Germany.

In addition to the interest from Germany, Spanish club Getafe is monitoring Romanchuk. This attention followed a 1-1 draw in the Conference League. Getafe is also tracking Universitatea Craiova striker Assad Al-Hamlawi, who scored for the Romanian side in that same match.

Răchită suggested that club owner Mihai Rotaru might accept a sale during the winter break. He noted that the return of player Rus provides defensive cover for the team. Răchită also claimed that Rotaru originally paid only a few hundred thousand euros for Romanchuk, which makes the current offers financially attractive for the club.

Emil Săndoi commented on the situation, stating that Romanian clubs generally cannot afford to reject significant transfer offers. He cited the risk of player value decreasing through injury or loss of form as a key factor in such decisions. Săndoi indicated that Universitatea Craiova has sufficient defensive options to manage Romanchuk's potential departure.

The defensive depth at Universitatea Craiova includes the returning Rus and left-footed central defender Roux. These players provide alternatives should the club decide to proceed with a transfer for Romanchuk. The reports highlight the financial incentives for the club compared to the initial investment made in the defender.
