FCSB secured a 4-1 victory over Rapid in their latest match. The result was confirmed by reports following the game. Laurențiu Reghecampf serves as the head coach for FCSB during this period.
Controversy emerged at the end of the fixture. Supporters from the Peluza Nord section directed racist slogans toward opponents. Many FCSB players remained on the pitch and applauded while these chants were ongoing.
Reghecampf addressed the incident during a subsequent press conference. He denied that the behavior constituted racism. Instead, he described the chants as a form of song or harassment typical between rival fan galleries.
The situation escalated when a journalist questioned the coach about the nature of the chants. Reghecampf responded aggressively. He pointed his finger directly at the reporter and said "Ai grijă!", which translates to "Be careful!".
This gesture has drawn immediate comparisons to a recent political event. Donald Trump previously pointed his finger at journalist Andrew Feinberg in the Oval Office. Trump used the same Romanian phrase, "Ai grijă!", during that interaction.
Andrew Feinberg works as a correspondent for The Independent. The earlier incident involving Trump was captured on video. JD Vance posted this footage, which highlighted the former president's confrontation with the journalist.
