Olimpiu Moruțan extends Rapid contract until 2028 with salary increase
Rapid midfielder Olimpiu Moruțan signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until summer 2028, accompanied by a monthly salary increase to 38,000 euros.

Olimpiu Moruțan has signed a contract extension with Rapid that runs until summer 2028. The deal includes a raise in his monthly compensation. His salary increased from 33,000 euros to 38,000 euros per month.
Victor Angelescu confirmed the agreement for Moruțan. He also announced that teammates Dina Grameni and Lars Kramer extended their contracts with the club. These extensions also run until 2028.
Moruțan has contributed two goals and seven assists in 14 matches for Rapid this season. Transfermarkt lists his market value at 1,800,000 euros.
The club is still negotiating with other players. Discussions are ongoing with Alexandru Dobre, Marian Aioani, Alexandru Pașcanu and Răzvan Onea regarding new deals.
Alexandru Dobre previously refused a contract extension offer from Dan Șucu. Dobre scored five goals in 12 SuperLiga matches this season. He has recorded 28 goals in 83 total appearances for Rapid. Transfermarkt values him at 3 million euros. His current contract was extended one year ago.
The Rapid president stated he believes Răzvan Onea will sign a new contract. This expectation remains uncertain as negotiations continue.
