Raków Częstochowa lost 1-2 away to Wisła Kraków in Dawid Szwarga's first match back as head coach.

The defeat leaves Raków at the bottom of the league table.

Julius Ertlhaler and Lamine Diaby-Fadiga scored for Raków, while Kacper Duda scored the winner for Wisła in stoppage time. A goal by Marcel Łubik was disallowed for offside before Julius Ertlhaler's valid opener.

Dawid Szwarga stated that excessive nervousness in the first half fueled Wisła and led to unnecessary ball losses. He assessed that the team improved in the second half and took a step forward as a unit despite the loss.

Szwarga cited his emotional connection to Raków and desire to be a head coach as reasons for his return. Under his previous leadership, Raków reached the Europa League group stage and finished seventh in the 2023/24 season.
