Dawid Szwarga has returned to Raków Częstochowa as head coach. The appointment was confirmed this week and marks his second spell in charge of the club. He takes over duties immediately ahead of the team's upcoming fixtures.
Szwarga replaces Tomasz Kaczmarek, who was dismissed from his position. Kaczmarek’s tenure lasted for only five matches before the club decided to make a change. The short duration of his stay highlights the pressure on the coaching staff during this period.
The managerial change comes at a difficult time for Raków Częstochowa. The team currently occupies the last place in the league table. They have accumulated only six points after playing eleven rounds of matches. This poor run of form prompted the decision to seek new leadership.
Szwarga will face an immediate test in his new role. His first match as manager will be an away game against Wisła Kraków. This fixture serves as his debut as he attempts to stabilize the team’s performance and improve their standing.
Following the league match in Kraków, the club has another important fixture scheduled. Raków Częstochowa is set to play Motor Lublin in the Polish Cup on Tuesday. The team will need to manage its resources and focus across these consecutive competitive games.
