Polish football calendar: how the season fits together
Ekstraklasa in 2026–27: the league programme, season stages and how to read fixture dates alongside cup and European commitments.
The league programme
Ekstraklasa’s approved calendar opens on the weekend of 24–26 July 2026 and ends with round 34 on 22 May 2027. It is an 18-club, home-and-away league with one continuous table. There is no extra championship group to schedule after those 34 rounds.
How the season is divided
The last full autumn round is scheduled for 12 December. The spring programme resumes on the weekend of 29 January 2027, with 30 January used as the reference Saturday for round 19. December reserve dates can accommodate postponed games; the winter interval is therefore not a promise that every club stops playing on the same day.

What to check before following a fixture
The league’s calendar announcement allows European qualifying participants to postpone two domestic games during qualifying. It also reserves midweeks for international and Polish Cup commitments. A club with fewer league games played may have a scheduling backlog rather than a missing result.
