Fiorentina has loaned Radu Drăgușin from Tottenham for a fee of 1,500,000 euros. The agreement includes a condition that requires Fiorentina to buy the defender if he plays in at least 60% of the club's matches this season. The mandatory purchase price is set at 17,500,000 euros.

Tottenham will retain 10% of the federative rights to Drăgușin even after the potential transfer. This structure ensures the English club maintains a financial interest in the player's future value beyond the initial sale price.

Drăgușin joined Tottenham from Genoa in 2024 for a transfer fee of 28,000,000 euros. His move to Italy represents a return to Serie A, where he previously developed his career before moving to the Premier League.

The Romanian defender made his senior debut in December 2020 while playing for Juventus. He appeared in a UEFA Champions League match against Dinamo Kiev, which ended in a 3-0 victory for the Italian side. Andrea Pirlo was the coach who gave him his first senior appearance.

Financial reports indicate that Drăgușin has earned over 28,000,000 euros gross from contracts and bonuses throughout his career. After taxes, these earnings amount to approximately 15,000,000 euros according to data from Capology.

His highest gross salary was recorded at 6,530,000 euros during the 2025/2026 season at Tottenham. At Fiorentina, his gross annual remuneration is reported to be 5,970,000 euros.
