FCSB secured a 1-0 victory over Oțelul in a recent SuperLiga match. This result marked the debut win for head coach Laurențiu Reghecampf. The club has accumulated 15 points in the current season following this success.

Details have emerged regarding a dispute between FCSB official Mihai Stoica and fan leader Gheorghe Mustață. Mustață previously accused Stoica of opposing the appointment of Reghecampf at the club. Stoica has denied this claim and stated he strongly wanted Reghecampf to take the role.

The disagreement centered on alternative coaching candidates. Owner Gigi Becali had selected Ianis Zicu as his preferred choice for the position. However, both Stoica and Mustață did not want Zicu to become the head coach.

Stoica took active steps to secure Reghecampf’s return. He asked Mustață to convince the coach to join FCSB. This exchange of messages took place during a match between Universitatea Craiova and FCSB, which ended in a 5-0 defeat for the Bucharest side.

Reghecampf agreed to leave Esperance Tunis to return to FCSB. This move marks his third mandate with the club. He has worked with Stoica during all three of his previous tenures at the team.
