Gigi Becali has announced measures at the FCSB Youth Center in response to accusations made by Gheorghe Mustață. The club owner confirmed that changes are coming to the youth sector management structure following a public dispute.
The conflict originated from exchanged accusations between FCSB gallery leader Gheorghe Mustață and Mihai Stoica. Tensions escalated as both parties publicly criticized each other regarding the management and direction of the club.
Mustață specifically criticized the management of the youth sector. He requested the departure of assistant coach Alin Stoica as part of his demands for structural changes within the academy.
Gigi Becali stated that he is considering measures after analyzing the information received during the dispute. He indicated that the situation required a review of the current personnel and operations at the youth center.
Despite the pressure from the fan leader, Becali clarified that he would not make decisions solely at the request of the gallery leader. He emphasized his independence in managing club affairs and personnel matters.
Becali confirmed that some individuals will leave the club, but he explicitly stated that Alin Stoica is not among them. This clarification came after reports suggested that the assistant coach might be forced out due to the fan backlash.
In an interview with sport.ro, Becali reiterated that he will remove people from their positions but not Stoica. He explained that he does not follow the specific demands of Mustață, maintaining his own criteria for staff retention.
Mihai Stoica rejected the accusations leveled against him during the conflict. He requested that any decisions regarding his role or the club's management be based on concrete facts rather than public sentiment or rumors.
Stoica also claimed he was unaware of supporters visiting the training base to meet Laurenţiu Reghecampf. This statement addressed allegations regarding unauthorized access or interactions between fans and coaching staff.
While Becali confirmed that departures are imminent, he has not publicly named the specific individuals who are expected to leave the club. The identity of the staff members affected by these measures remains undisclosed.
