Gigi Becali keeps Alin Stoica and Lucian Filip at FCSB despite internal dispute

Gigi Becali has decided that Alin Stoica and Lucian Filip will continue in their roles as assistant coaches at FCSB. The club owner made this decision clear following internal disagreements regarding the status of the two staff members.

The conflict arose after Gheorghe Mustață demanded the resignation of both Stoica and Filip from their positions at the Bucharest club. Mustață, a prominent figure within the organization, sought their removal amid growing tensions.

Mustață accused the assistants of favoring certain children for personal interests. He also alleged that they were dropping prospective players from consideration without valid sporting reasons.

In response to these claims, Mihai Stoica defended Alin Stoica. He requested concrete evidence to support the serious accusations leveled against the coaching staff.

Mustață stated that evidence regarding the allegations had already reached Gigi Becali. He further suggested that Mihai Stoica should leave the club if the claims were proven to be true.

Head coach Laurențiu Reghecampf also weighed in on the matter. He told Becali that he needed Alin Stoica at the senior team, citing the assistant's hard work as a key reason for retaining him.

Becali ultimately rejected the demands for dismissal. He stated that he makes the final decisions at FCSB and would not satisfy Mustață's requests regarding the coaching staff.

The owner expressed strong support for Lucian Filip specifically. Becali claimed he had made money with Filip during his time at the club and stated that the assistant would never leave.
