Dinamo secured a 2-0 victory over Sepsi in the 11th round of the SuperLiga on October 9, 2026. The win consolidated their position at the top of the league standings under head coach Nuno Campos.

Martin Pascual opened the scoring for Dinamo in the 24th minute. Alberto Soro added a second goal in the 36th minute to seal the result before halftime.

The three points lifted Dinamo to 26 points in the table. They now hold a five-point lead over Rapid and a six-point advantage over Universitatea Craiova. Both rival clubs have one fewer match played than Dinamo.

Head coach Nuno Campos highlighted the historical significance of the result. He noted that Dinamo had not won at Sepsi’s venue since 2019. Campos stated that his team deserved the victory.

Campos praised goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch and defender Nikita Stoinov for their contributions. Stoinov played the full 90 minutes. The coach confirmed that the defender has returned to full mental focus after completing four matches with the national team.

Captain Cătălin Cîrjan dedicated the win to former Dinamo captain Cătălin Hîldan. The gesture marked 26 years since Hîldan died on the pitch during a match.

Cîrjan also addressed reports regarding his relationship with the national team setup. He denied claims of conflict over limited playing time. The captain stated that he respects the decisions made by national team coach Mister.

Dinamo continues to manage squad availability issues. Players Alexandru Musi and George Pușcaș are currently undergoing recovery processes from injuries.
