Alberto Soro has spoken about his future at Dinamo Bucharest amid ongoing discussions regarding his contract. The midfielder addressed the situation as talks for an extension have stalled due to disagreements over financial terms.
Dinamo president Andrei Nicolescu stated that negotiations are currently blocked. The primary obstacle is a release clause in Soro's existing deal that is set at more than one million euros. This figure has prevented the club and the player from reaching a new agreement.
Soro indicated that he would not mind continuing his career outside of Spain. This comment comes as he evaluates his options while under contract with the Romanian side. His current deal with Dinamo is valid until the summer of 2027.
The Spanish midfielder joined Dinamo in 2024. Before arriving in Romania, he spent time on loan at Chaves in the Portuguese second division. His previous clubs include Zaragoza, Real Madrid, Granada, Vizela, and Chaves.
Soro has made 12 appearances for Dinamo this season. During these matches, he has scored four goals and provided two assists. These contributions have come under the guidance of head coach Nuno Campos.
Market data from Transfermarkt values Soro at one million euros. This valuation aligns closely with the release clause figure cited by the Dinamo president as the sticking point in the renewal talks.
