Universitatea Craiova is set to face Getafe in the main phase of the UEFA Conference League. The match is scheduled for Thursday at 19:45. It will take place at the Ion Oblemenco stadium.

Fans unable to attend the game in person can watch the broadcast on television. Digi Sport 1 and Prima Sport 1 have been confirmed as the channels airing the fixture.

The Romanian Football Federation has appointed a Slovenian officiating team for the contest. David Smajc will serve as the main referee. He will be assisted by Manuel Vidali and David Gabrovec.

The video assistant referee duties will be handled by Aleksandar Matkovic and Mihael Antic. Zan Jazbec has been assigned as the fourth official for the match.

Ticket sales for the event have generated significant revenue. Reports indicate that over 20,000 lei worth of tickets were sold for the clash between Craiova and Getafe.

Filipe Coelho is the current coach of Universitatea Craiova. He will lead the team in this European fixture against the Spanish side.

Attention has also turned to striker Assad Al Hamlawi. El Mundo Deportivo reported that he scored nine goals in the last month for both Craiova and the Palestine national team. This claim remains unconfirmed by other sources.

The reported tally includes two goals against Universitatea Cluj and two against FCSB. The remaining five goals were reportedly scored for his national team.

Al Hamlawi’s career path includes a significant personal challenge. He suffered a serious accident at the age of 14. He broke his legs after falling from a diving board.

The injury required a long recovery period. Al Hamlawi spent nearly a year in a wheelchair following the incident before returning to football.
