Dinamo București remained at the top of the SuperLiga standings after drawing 2-2 with CFR Cluj in the 13th round of the competition. The result left Dinamo with 30 points from 13 matches, comprising nine wins, three draws and one loss.

The match featured a significant turnaround for the visitors. Dinamo trailed 2-0 until the 78th minute before scoring twice to secure a point. Zandbergen was among the scorers in the fixture.

Dinamo coach Nuno Campos addressed his players in the dressing room after the final whistle. He praised the team's mentality and attitude during the comeback but expressed dissatisfaction with the final result of a draw. A video of this speech posted on Facebook received more than 3,600 likes and over 100 comments within the first hour.

Andrei Nicolescu, an official at Dinamo, credited Campos for the outcome. He stated that the coach deserved recognition for making inspired substitutions that helped change the game. Nicolescu also noted that the club had not fully anticipated the opponent's ultra-defensive style and was not completely prepared for their tactics. He added that statements made during the heat of the match were influenced by emotions.

Tensions surrounding the match included comments from CFR Cluj coach Marius Șumudică. He criticized the playing style of his opponents and compared his own team's pass volume to that of Barcelona. Regarding his relationship with Campos, Șumudică stated there was no conflict between them after the match. However, he also claimed that Campos had previously complained that low player salaries at Dinamo prevented the team from competing for the title.

Dinamo will look to maintain their position at the top of the table in the next round. They are scheduled to play UTA Arad at home on 1 November 2026 in round 14 of the SuperLiga.
