SK Slavia Prague striker Tomáš Chorý has received his fourth red card in 14 months, resulting in his exclusion from the squad traveling to Istanbul for the Champions League match against Fenerbahçe. The incident has triggered a severe response from the club's management and coaching staff.

Head coach Jindřich Trpišovský addressed the media during a press conference, declaring that Chorý would never play for Slavia Prague again. Trpišovský reportedly described the striker's actions as a betrayal, noting that the player had been on probation with the club leadership before committing this final infraction.

Despite the coach's definitive statement, Chorý's agent Zdeněk Nehoda indicated that he had not yet received an official communication from the club regarding the termination or suspension details. Nehoda confirmed that the striker remains under a valid contract and is currently training with the first team while awaiting the decision of the disciplinary committee.

Nehoda revealed a shift in strategy regarding his client's future, stating that they would now seek a foreign transfer. Although Chorý had previously expressed a desire to remain in the Czech Republic, the agent noted that recent events have forced a reevaluation. Potential destinations discussed include leagues in Greece, Poland, and Cyprus, with vague indications of interest from Saudi Arabia and Dubai.

The departure of Chorý presents Slavia Prague with an opportunity to alter its tactical approach. Analysis suggests the club could move away from a style dependent on long balls and aerial duels, which suited Chorý's profile, toward a more dynamic and combinative game. During periods when Chorý was unavailable earlier in the season, Slavia achieved significant victories against Slovácko, Ostrava, and Pardubice, with Mojmír Chytil contributing four goals in those matches.
