The professional registration periods
Czech professional league players have a different registration category from amateur players. FAČR’s transfer handbook is organised around the type of move, the documents required and whether compensation is payable. A June notice about a special amateur transfer opportunity is not the Chance Liga professional window.

The local detail that matters
FIFA’s Czech association snapshot lists the professional periods shown above. For a move to a Czech league club, confirm the player’s category in the FAČR rules; for a player leaving Czechia, also check the receiving association. A completed club agreement and permission to play a league match remain separate steps.

Agreed, signed and registered are different stages
A reported agreement describes negotiations; a club announcement confirms what that club has stated. Neither should automatically be described as clearance to play. For an international move, identify the receiving club and its association, the player’s professional status and whether the necessary registration has been confirmed. Exceptions require their own supporting rule; “free agent” is not enough on its own to establish eligibility.
Keep the football context in view
Read the latest transfer reporting alongside the league schedule. A signing can arrive after the campaign has started, while a player registered during winter may join before league fixtures resume. These pages cover football context for readers; the federation’s current decisions remain the operational reference for clubs.
