Romanian referee Alina Peșu has been appointed to officiate the upcoming Women's Champions League match between Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. The fixture is part of the main phase of the competition and is scheduled for Thursday, 29 October.

Peșu will lead an entirely Romanian officiating team for the high-profile encounter. She will be assisted by Daniela Constantinescu and Bianca Florea, with Roxana Recorean serving as the fourth official. The video assistant referee team will consist of Radu Petrescu and Cristina Trandafir.

The appointment comes as Manchester City sits in 11th place in the 18-team standings with two points. Their opponents, PSG, are currently ranked third with four points. Peșu, who is 37 years old, brings recent experience from the international stage to this club fixture.

Prior to this assignment, Peșu officiated a semifinal match at the Women's U20 World Cup between Italy and Spain. Assistant referee Daniela Constantinescu was also part of the officiating team for that tournament match, highlighting the continued collaboration among these Romanian officials.
