The Ekstraklasa League Commission has imposed a six-month suspension and a 50,000 zloty fine on Radomiak midfielder Ibrahima Camara. The disciplinary body announced the decision on Wednesday, citing the player's behavior during a recent match against Pogoń Szczecin.
The incident occurred in the final stages of the game when Camara received a red card for kicking Alessandro Riccio. After initially heading toward the tunnel, the 27-year-old returned to the field area and struck Darko Czurlinow, escalating tensions on the pitch and near the benches.
The commission granted the decision immediate enforceability, meaning Camara is barred from participating in any competitions, including the Polish Cup, effective immediately. Although the player attempted to apologize for his actions through social media, the league authority proceeded with severe sanctions.
Camara joined Radomiak in the summer of 2025 and had featured in 13 matches this season prior to the ban. His contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, and the lengthy suspension has cast doubt on his future with the club.
