Inter Milano is reportedly monitoring the situation of Leeds United defender Tarik Muharemovic. The Italian club is managed by Cristi Chivu. This development comes as other major European teams also show interest in the player.
Barcelona and Bayern Munchen are also interested in signing Muharemovic from Leeds United. Reports indicate that Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund have shown less pronounced interest in the defender compared to these other clubs.
Leeds United has valued Muharemovic at over 60,000,000 pounds sterling. This figure is equivalent to over 71,000,000 euros. Sources close to the English club stated there is no availability for the defender unless an extremely advantageous sum is offered.
Muharemovic joined Leeds United from Sassuolo in July 2026. The transfer fee was 37,000,000 euros. He signed a contract with Leeds United valid until June 30, 2031.
Inter Milano previously attempted to sign Muharemovic from Sassuolo in the summer of 2025. Those negotiations failed. The club has returned to monitor the player after his move to England.
Muharemovic has played 10 matches for Leeds United since his arrival. He has scored one goal and provided two assists during this period. His performances have drawn attention from multiple top clubs.
Inter Milano defender Alessandro Bastoni has been courted by several teams in previous transfer windows. This context highlights the defensive recruitment focus at the Italian club under Chivu.
