Vasas and Hungary national team forward Milán Tóth has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture, according to reports. The injury is expected to keep the young player sidelined for the entire season.

Tóth is scheduled to undergo surgery on Monday at a private clinic near Innsbruck. A renowned Austrian specialist will perform the procedure, ensuring the player receives high-level medical care during his recovery.

The Tyrolean institution is a major rehabilitation center for international elite athletes. It has previously treated world-class players such as David Alaba, Manuel Neuer, Leroy Sané and Lucas Hernández for knee and ligament surgeries.

Following the operation, Tóth will remain in Austria for a few days. He will then return to Hungary to continue his long-term rehabilitation process.

The injury represents a significant loss for Vasas, where Tóth had been a key player. He contributed three goals and one assist in ten league matches this season. His form also attracted the attention of Hungary head coach Marco Rossi.

Tóth was included in the national squad in September and featured in all four Nations League matches. He scored a goal against Ukraine to repay the trust placed in him by the coaching staff.
