Why do clubs play 33 matches?

Hungary’s NB I has 12 clubs in 2026–27. They meet three times, giving each team 33 league fixtures. Unlike a double round-robin, a three-meeting schedule cannot give a club an equal number of home and away games against every opponent within one season.

What changed in the relegation rules?

MLSZ’s announcement explicitly changes the previous two-team direct relegation arrangement. In this season, the twelfth-placed club goes down directly. The eleventh-placed team faces the runner-up from the second tier in a promotion/relegation play-off, allocated to 29 May 2027. Do not apply an older season’s bottom-two rule to this table.

When does the campaign finish?

MLSZ lists the last league round, number 33, for 22 May 2027, with the winter restart on the weekend of 30 January. Match appointments can change around broadcasting and European fixtures. The published competition calendar and an individual game’s kick-off serve different purposes.

Where are the current standings?

ScoreTransfer’s NB I match centre combines the stored table, recent results and upcoming games from MLSZ Adatbank. Open a fixture for local times, source details and available club reporting. League position alone is not a complete explanation of European entry: the domestic cup and the applicable access rules also matter.
