FK Partizani officially ended its collaboration with head coach Florin Bratu and his technical staff on October 12, 2026. The Albanian first league club cited poor results as the primary reason for the decision. The announcement confirmed the termination of the partnership due to a disappointing start to the season that negatively affected the team's objectives.

The dismissal came one day after Partizani suffered a 1-3 home defeat to KF Tirana in the sixth round of the championship. This loss capped a difficult opening period for the Romanian manager. Under Bratu, the team recorded only one win, one draw, and four losses in their first six matches. They accumulated just 4 points out of a possible 18.

Partizani sat in ninth place out of ten teams in the league table at the time of the announcement. The club was three points behind the sixth position, which is the cutoff for the playoffs. The goal difference during Bratu's tenure stood at 8-13. These statistics highlighted the struggle the team faced in securing positive results early in the campaign.

Alfred Deliallisi, who currently coaches Partizani B, will lead the next training session. He is set to take over temporary duties while the club searches for a permanent replacement. Local press reports suggest that the next head coach is likely to be a foreigner from Croatia, though no official appointment has been made.

Florin Bratu had joined FK Partizani in July 2026. His arrival followed the relegation of his previous club, Metaloglobus. At Metaloglobus, Bratu finished the prior season with two wins, five draws, and three losses. The move to Albania marked his second coaching experience outside of Romania.

This role represented the 13th coaching experience in Bratu's career. Before joining Partizani, he held positions at several clubs including Dinamo București, Concordia Chiajna, and CS Tunari. He also served as the coach for the Romania U18 and U21 national teams. In 2023, he coached Karmiotissa in the Cyprus first league.

Following his dismissal, Bratu stated that he is in talks with a club in Romania. He indicated that he would likely terminate his contract with Partizani on the day of the statement. However, he declined to provide specific details about his future plans until he returns home.

FK Partizani is one of the most successful clubs in Albanian football history. The team has won 17 Albanian league titles and 15 Cups. The recent change in management aims to reverse the current trend and improve the team's standing in the league.
