The upcoming SuperLiga derby between FCSB and Rapid București is set to draw a significant crowd. Reports indicate that fans from both sides are actively preparing for the fixture, which serves as the highlight of round 13 in the competition. Expectations are high for a large turnout at the stadium.
To manage the anticipated demand, FCSB and Rapid have signed a reciprocity agreement. This arrangement allows 8,000 spectators from each club to attend the match. The agreement ensures that supporters from both teams can be present in substantial numbers.
Mihai Stoica has estimated that the attendance could reach record levels for this edition of the championship. He suggested that the number of fans might exceed 30,000. This projection highlights the intense interest surrounding the clash between the two Bucharest rivals.
The return leg between the two sides will take place at Arena Națională. Rapid București will serve as the host for this fixture. The venue is expected to accommodate the large number of supporters predicted for the event.
FCSB enters the derby following a 2-1 victory over FC Voluntari in their previous match. Despite the win, club owner Gigi Becali expressed deep dissatisfaction with his team's performance during that game. He remains critical of how the players executed their tasks on the pitch.
Regarding squad availability, Gigi Becali addressed the status of Drăguș. He stated that the player has a minor issue but believes he will be fit to play against Rapid. This assessment provides some clarity on the attacking options for FCSB ahead of the derby.
Former player Gică Craioveanu offered his perspective on the current form of the two teams. He stated that Rapid arrives at the derby in better shape than FCSB. This view contrasts with the recent result achieved by FCSB, adding another layer of discussion before kickoff.
