A court halted insolvency proceedings against Dynamo České Budějovice on October 19. The decision came after the initial creditor withdrew their petition following repayment of the debt.

Despite the halt, further financial issues have come to light. Former employee Libor Matoušek claimed the club owed him 472,000 crowns at the time the proceedings were stopped.

Two additional creditors have also emerged in the insolvency records. A construction company is seeking 1.4 million crowns, while another firm is demanding 85,000 crowns.

The high court must now decide on further steps in the insolvency case due to these new claims. The presence of additional creditors complicates the situation despite the earlier withdrawal of the initial petition.

Club owner Nneka Edeová purchased Dynamo when it was in the second league. Most of the liabilities arose before her acquisition of the club.

Tensions between the ownership and local authorities have also been reported. The South Bohemian Region offered to buy the club for 32.5 million crowns, but Edeová rejected the proposal.

Following the refusal to sell, the city council terminated its stadium contract with the club. The agreement allows Dynamo to continue playing at the venue until April 2027.
