SK Slavia Prague has struggled to achieve success among Europe's elite clubs in recent times. The team suffered an initial home defeat against Lens and followed this with a loss in Baku against Sabah, a newcomer to the competition.
The club's wait for a victory in the main phase of the UEFA Champions League extends back to 2007, covering 21 matches without a win. Additionally, the reigning Czech champion has failed to win any of its last seventeen matches in cup competitions.
Coach Jindřich Trpišovský's squad has an opportunity to correct this record on Tuesday evening in Turkey. The match against Fenerbahçe is scheduled for 20 October at 18:45 and will be broadcast on Nova Sport 3, with pre-match coverage starting at 18:00.
The fixture will be hosted at Chobani Stadium in Istanbul, a venue with a seating capacity of 47,430.
