Crvena zvezda has accumulated one point from its first two matches in the Conference League. The team faced Lugano and Copenhagen in these European fixtures. Bamba Dieng missed major chances during these games.

In contrast to their European results, the club leads the domestic Mozzart Bet Superliga. After the first round of matches, Crvena zvezda finished with eight points more than Vojvodina.

Albert Rijera has managed the team for ten matches so far. His tenure began with a match against Čukarički. The squad also played against Lučani and Železničar in Kragujevac during this period.

The team recorded one draw away to Radnik Surdulica under Rijera. They also played against OFK Beograd, where the host missed two chances for a draw.

Reports suggest it is possible that Albert Rijera will shorten the squad during the winter transfer window. This potential change comes as the team balances domestic leadership with European challenges.
