Why are there 14 teams?
The 2026–27 Serbian SuperLiga is a transitional season under the federation’s adopted restructuring plan. Fourteen clubs compete, between the earlier sixteen-team league and the planned twelve-team competition. An initial reform proposal is not the same as the final adopted decision.
How many matches are played before the split?
The preliminary phase consists of 26 rounds, with home and away meetings. The top six then enter the championship group, and the other eight enter the survival group. The groups have different sizes and therefore different numbers of remaining games.
How do the final groups work?
The six-team group plays a single round-robin of five further games, producing 31 rounds overall. The eight-team group plays seven further games, producing 33 rounds. The adopted decision sends four clubs down from the survival group, leaving ten existing clubs to join two promoted teams in the next twelve-team league.
How should I use the match centre?
Check the season and snapshot date alongside the table. ScoreTransfer links recorded fixtures to their source and to club coverage where available. A later meeting between the same clubs is a different fixture. The guide explains the adopted format; it does not predict the final standings or allocate European places.
