FK Novi Pazar secured a 2-0 victory over Radnički Niš in the Mozzart Bet Superliga, with Kahim Dikson scoring both goals. This result marked the club's fourth win of the season and ended a four-match streak without a full three points. Dikson has been instrumental in this recent form, contributing significantly to the team's offensive output.
The Jamaican winger joined Novi Pazar from Charlton Athletic during the summer transfer window for a fee of 30,000 euros. He signed a three-year contract in late July. Although he did not feature in the season opener against Radnički Kragujevac, he has since become a key figure, scoring five goals and providing three assists across all competitions.
Fikret Međedović, the general secretary of Novi Pazar, revealed that Ivica Pavlović recommended Dikson. Međedović initially hesitated because Dikson had limited playing time at his previous club. However, after receiving reports on Dikson's physical attributes and watching him play 90 minutes for Jamaica against India and Nigeria, Međedović was convinced of his quality and character.
Međedović described the signing as one of his best decisions and predicted it would result in the club's largest ever sale. He disclosed that the club has already received inquiries with potential fees at least double their previous record transfer income. Despite this interest, Međedović stated that Novi Pazar is financially stable and will not be forced to sell in the upcoming winter window, allowing them to control the negotiation process.
