Pirin Blagoevgrad has appointed Petar Mihtarski as its new head coach, the club announced. The move comes as the team seeks to reverse a difficult start to the campaign in the Bulgarian second tier.

The squad currently sits in last place in the Mr Bit Second League table. They have secured only one point so far this season, placing them in a precarious position early in the competition.

Mihtarski took charge immediately upon the announcement. He was scheduled to lead his first training session with the squad on the afternoon of the appointment day.

The club confirmed that the rest of the technical staff will remain in their current roles for now. No further changes to the coaching team were indicated at the time of the announcement.

Pirin Blagoevgrad issued a statement welcoming Mihtarski back to the club. The organization expressed its best wishes for his success in leading the team through the remainder of the season.
