Nesebar president Nedialko Moskov stated he was satisfied with his team's performance despite losing 0-2 to CSKA Sofia in the SESAME Bulgarian Cup round of 16. Moskov described the fixture as a normal match characterized by intense battling, acknowledging that CSKA Sofia was the superior side. He noted that Nesebar created two dangerous opportunities late in the first half, suggesting the outcome might have differed had they converted those chances.

Following the match in the coastal city, Moskov praised the referees for their excellent officiating. He also extended well wishes to CSKA Sofia and all Bulgarian clubs participating in European competitions. The Nesebar president explained that the club receives financial dividends from the strong performances of Bulgarian teams on the continental stage.

Moskov highlighted the presence of many children at the stadium as the most joyful aspect of the event, noting that they were admitted for free. He described working with youth as a social policy intended to help children develop an interest in football, which he cited as a key issue in the local game. The president emphasized that ensuring children attend matches to see the sport firsthand remains a priority for the club.

Addressing the club's status, Moskov stated that Nesebar is now financially secure, a significant change from the uncertainty faced two years ago. He pointed out that several players born in Nesebar featured in the match and competed on equal terms with CSKA Sofia. Moskov affirmed that the club's primary objective is to maintain its position in the Second League, citing good development conditions and daily work as factors contributing to their current stability.
