A serious unsporting incident occurred during the Hungary U15 national team's match at the FIFA football festival in Baku.

The event is organized by the international federation as an unconventional experience-gathering occasion rather than a traditional official tournament.

The match against Malaysia ended in a 1-1 draw.

Horváth Olivér, wearing the number 9 shirt, was punched in the face by a Malaysian defender while jogging into the penalty area for a free kick.

The Malaysian player struck Horváth in the face with his left arm or elbow in an off-the-ball situation away from the play.

Horváth fell to the ground but did not suffer serious injury.

The referee approached Horváth, who questioned the foul with outstretched arms, but no expulsion was issued.

Horváth stated that the referee judged the head strike as diving, resulting in no red card.

Hungary had already been eliminated from the group stage based on previous results but will play in placement matches.

Horváth captained the national team in the previous match against the Dominican Republic.
