German Sky Sport has officially denied recent speculation suggesting that Bayern Munich is pursuing transfers for Dani Olmo, Johan Manzambi, and Luka Vušković. The broadcaster clarified that despite persistent media reports, the Bavarian club is not actively negotiating for any of these players during the current window.

Regarding Dani Olmo, Sky Sport noted that the midfielder holds a long-term contract with Barcelona extending until 2030. Sources indicate that Olmo is content with his life in Catalonia, and Bayern Munich has no plans to initiate talks for his acquisition, even during the upcoming winter transfer period.

The situation with Johan Manzambi was also dismissed as unfounded. Manzambi joined Aston Villa just a few months ago for a fee reported to be around 60 million euros. Sky Sport argued that Aston Villa would demand an excessive sum for the player now, and it is illogical to assume Bayern would wait until his price increased rather than acting when he was at Freiburg.

Luka Vušković, identified as the second most expensive Croatian player behind Joško Gvardiol, was also ruled out as an immediate option. The Brighton defender has established himself as a key figure under manager Fabian Hürzeler, having featured in all 11 official matches for the English club this season. Sky Sport suggested that Brighton would not release him without an undeniable offer, and questioned why Bayern would target him in winter after failing to do so following his strong previous season.

Despite the transfer noise, Bayern Munich continues to perform strongly on the pitch. In 2026, the team has suffered only two defeats: a 2-1 home loss to Augsburg in January and a dramatic 4-5 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-finals. Head coach Vincent Kompany, who has now led the team in 122 matches, has secured the full backing of the fanbase after initial skepticism upon his arrival.
