Cracovia president Murat Colak expressed strong dissatisfaction with Polish refereeing standards following a 1:1 draw against Legia Warsaw. The match, officiated by Piotr Lasyk, ended in controversy after a disputed incident in the 86th minute involving Arkadiusz Reca and Karol Knap.

Immediately after the final whistle, Colak entered the pitch to confront Lasyk regarding his performance. The club president later announced that Cracovia would submit an official letter to the Referees' College to address perceived officiating errors from the game.

In a public statement, Colak argued that clear situations were not receiving correct resolutions, which negatively impacted the integrity of the competition. He emphasized that the club could no longer pretend that these systemic issues did not exist.

Colak called for a meeting with the Polish Football Association and the presidents of all Ekstraklasa clubs to discuss concrete actions. He stated that the credibility of the league and fan trust were at stake, requiring real changes rather than ineffective discussions.

To improve decision-making quality and impartiality, Colak proposed that VAR officials in Ekstraklasa matches should be international FIFA referees from abroad. He asserted that clubs, players, and fans deserved clear rules and fair competition through such structural reforms.
