Ante Budimir was recognized with a special club award for achieving the milestone of 100 goals in La Liga. The presentation took place before Osasuna's league fixture against Racing Santander, which served as the ninth round of the Spanish football championship.
Budimir contributed to the team's success on the pitch by converting a penalty kick in the ninth minute. This early strike provided the Pamplona-based side with the initial advantage in the contest.
Osasuna maintained their lead throughout the match and secured a 2-0 victory. Budimir remained on the field for the entire duration of the game, playing until the final whistle.
This latest strike marked Budimir's seventh league goal of the current campaign. In the seasonal scoring rankings, he trails Barcelona duo Raphinha, who has netted 12 times, and Yamal, who has recorded eight goals.
