Representatives of the Croatian Football Federation attended the UEFA Academy Summit in Lisbon. Leonarda Zorica, Ivona Hemen, and Hrvoje Hrkač were present at the event, which brought together participants and alumni of UEFA educational programs.
The three officials qualified for participation by completing the UEFA Certificate in Football Management program. Their attendance aligns with efforts to enhance professional development and international cooperation within the federation.
Held at the FPF Arena Portugal, the summit operated under the theme Humans After All. This theme highlighted the importance of interpersonal relationships and quality leadership amidst the growing influence of technology and data analysis in modern football.
The two-day agenda featured lectures, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. Topics covered leadership, professional development, personal branding, and the application of new technologies in sport.
Roberto Rosetti, head of the UEFA refereeing department, was among the notable speakers. He addressed the audience on how technology can assist refereeing decisions while maintaining that it cannot replace human judgment.
