PAOK coach Alessio Lisi has voiced strong confidence in the potential of his attacking pair, Simon Banza and Cherif Ndiaye. He stated that their combined presence on the pitch creates significant problems for opposing defenses, provided the team maintains the correct tactical balance.

Lisi clarified that he does not wish to discuss specific systems or formation changes in detail. He noted that formations become largely irrelevant once players are moving on the pitch after the referee starts the match.

The coach identified finding the correct tactical balance in all lines as the remaining challenge for the squad. He emphasized that the issue is not whether the two African forwards can play together, but rather how to structure the rest of the team around them.

While the duo adds intensity and execution skill to the attack, maintaining defensive balance in other lines is key. This balance is necessary to prevent exposure when the team loses possession of the ball.

Simon Banza has shown sharp form in recent outings. He played slightly more than one half across matches against Kalamata and Heraklis. During this time, he recorded four shots on target from four attempts and scored one header goal.

Banza’s header served as the equalizing goal in the derby match against Heraklis. This contribution highlighted his effectiveness within the penalty area when given the opportunity.

Cherif Ndiaye provides a different dimension to PAOK's game. He presses high on the opponent's first pass and moves outside the box to cooperate with teammates. His actions help create space and distribute the ball effectively.

Ndiaye’s presence allows PAOK to keep the opponent's defense low. This tactical effect gives Banza the freedom to move more freely within the penalty area spaces, enhancing the threat of the forward line.
