Panathinaikos have received reassuring news regarding the fitness of Croatian international Adriano Jagušić. Medical assessments conducted on 2026-10-20 confirmed that the forward did not sustain a serious injury during the recent league match. This update dispels earlier fears that his exit from the pitch might result in a prolonged absence from the squad.

The concern arose during Panathinaikos' victory over Asteras Tripolis. Jagušić entered the game in the 77th minute but was forced to leave the field after playing just 12 minutes due to an injury. The incident occurred late in the contest, cutting short his involvement in the win.

Despite the positive diagnosis, the player's immediate availability remains uncertain. Reports indicate that Jagušić might miss the upcoming away match in the Conference League against Kairat, which is scheduled for Thursday. The medical team is likely monitoring his condition closely before clearing him for competitive action.

However, the timeline for his return appears short. He is expected to be ready for the subsequent league fixture against Volos, which takes place three days after the European clash. This suggests that the injury is minor and should not keep him out of action for more than a few days.

Jagušić has had limited playing time in recent weeks. Since scoring a hat-trick for the U21 national team, his minutes on the pitch have been sparse. He played only seven minutes in the match against Olympiacos before featuring for 12 minutes against Asteras Tripolis.

The squad is also dealing with another significant injury issue. Teammate Azzedine Ounahi has been ruled out of action until the end of the year. His absence will require Panathinaikos to adjust their midfield options for the remainder of the calendar year.
