The Central Referees Committee has officially released the list of refereeing appointments for the eighth matchday of the 2026-27 Super League season. The announcement details the officials designated for each fixture in the upcoming round of top-flight Greek football competitions.
Prominent referee Vasilis Fotias was omitted from the domestic assignments for this matchday. This decision follows reported complaints arising from his performance in the recent derby match between PAOK and Iraklis. Instead of a Super League fixture, Fotias has been assigned by UEFA to officiate the Europa League encounter between Bournemouth and Milan.
The Saturday schedule features three matches with distinct officiating teams. Alexandros Tsakalidis will take charge of the clash between Iraklis and Kifisia, which is set to begin at 19:00. Later that evening, Alexandros Megas is appointed to oversee the game between Asteras AKTOR and Levadiakos at 19:30. The final match of the day sees Vasileios Fitsas refereeing the contest between AEK and Panaitolikos, scheduled for a 20:00 start.
Sunday’s fixtures include four matches spread across the afternoon and evening. Spyridon Zampalas will referee the early kick-off between Olympiacos and Kalamata at 16:00. Konstantinos Tsetsilas is assigned to the Volos versus Panathinaikos match at 18:00. Stavros Tsimenteridis will officiate the Aris versus Atromitos game at 19:30. The round concludes with Christos Vergetis refereeing the high-profile meeting between OFI and PAOK at 20:00.
