MŠK Žilina suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat against DAC in a top-of-the-table clash in the Niké liga. Despite the loss, coach Vladimír Veselý highlighted the high quality of football on display, describing the match as an advertisement for the league.

However, the atmosphere at the stadium was notably absent, with only approximately three thousand spectators present to watch the two leading teams compete. Veselý openly acknowledged that the crowd size was insufficient for such a significant fixture, noting that empty seats remained a visible issue at the modern stadium.

On the pitch, Žilina started nervously, with Veselý criticizing his team's defensive mistakes and lack of composure during the first thirty minutes. The team improved after falling behind, equalizing twice, but ultimately conceded a decisive third goal to DAC's Ramadan. Veselý praised Ramadan's finish but expressed regret over the defensive lapse that allowed it.

Addressing the low turnout, Veselý admitted that rebuilding fan engagement is a long-term challenge. He emphasized that players and coaching staff must continue working to attract supporters back to the stands, though he noted some improvement compared to previous attendances.
